my church look
Since moving to LA – We (the bf & I) have been looking for a church to call home so we’ve been church ‘hopping.’ We were blessed to have a wonderful church family in Houston (VEC & VBC) and I in Tokyo (New Hope). We want to find a place where we feel at ease and as though we’re family. We haven’t found that yet here, but we know it will take awhile and we can’t give up!
These days a lot of churches that I have been to (especially in CA) have a really laid back, casual feel. Although I’m not against it – shoot, you should always feel comfortable — I grew up wearing dresses to church and it was instilled in me to wear my “Sunday best.” I don’t think I can ever give that up. I love dressing up for church! I feel like I should put in that extra effort to praise Him!
I wore a dress that day (of course), but was running late so I forgot to take a pic — next time!

Very pretty! I try to throw a dress on and at least curl my lashes before church. Sometimes though, washing hair has more priority lol
