Review – Neutrogena Wave

Posted in product review by tokyostargirl on April 7, 2008

A few weeks back, I saw this at Walgreens and just bought it on a whim.

I didn’t really know what to expect from it, but I was hoping for good results!

Its website (www.neutrogenawave.com) describes it as “a vibrating cleanser that’s going to shake up the way you wash your face to give you noticeably softer, smoother skin after just 1 use.” Too good to be true? I thought so, too.

Basically what you do is attach a disposable pad to the attachment head, place it under running water to activate the foaming pad, then you turn it on and massage it around your face.  This device just vibrates, so if you are looking for a deep cleaning massage, this isn’t for you.

Just like what it advertises, after just 1 use, my skin REALLY did feel softer than before! Now I use it about 3 times a week while I’m in the shower (YES it’s water resistant!) Supposedly it’s gentle enough to use it daily, but I just choose not to – I like to give my skin a break.

I do recommend this if you want your skin to feel softer and smoother, but other than that – it doesn’t magically erase anything. I still like it, though!

You can buy this at Walgreens, CVS, probably Walmart or Target as well for about $13.99. If you can find it cheaper, good for you! =)

I thought you might be interested in a new Facebook Application that let’s high schools compete for a free Boys Like Girls concert, sponsored by Neutrogena. Basically, this application has different ways for you to earn points and the school that earns the most points wins. Here’s how it works:

Add the application at http://www.waveapp.com (you earn 25 points for your high school just for installing!)

Share the application with your friends to earn even more points
$50 gift cards are given away each week to the top 5 users with the most points each week!

The high school with the most points will win a free Boys Like Girls concert – plus, the top 10 Facebook users at the wining school get to meet the band backstage!

If you have any questions about the application be sure to contact wave@repnation.com.
