Givenchy Phenomen’ Eyes Mascara

Posted in makeup by tokyostargirl on July 23, 2008

I saw this in the August 2008 issue of InStyle Magazine. It looks so neat! Givenchy Le Makeup’s artistic director, Nicolas Degennes created a spherical mascara brush that reaches every single lash on the eye. The actual mascara is made out of elastomer which helps to glide over the lashes. It is created from water and a polymer that sticks to the lashes, while separating and lengthening them. Christina Ricci’s lashes have been looking really lush lately thanks to this mascara. Her makeup artist said, “I honestly can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a mascara.” It will be available in August 2008 at Sephora, for $27.

I thought this would be difficult to apply too but it’s actually easier (at least for me) than using a mascara wand, since my eyes are relatively small. I reviewed it here if you’re interested:
